SKEA organizes a series of seminars and workshops on participating in the 14th cycle of SKEA

The Office of Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) organized a series of seminars and workshops over the past two months for the companies which are participating in the 14th cycle of the award. This comes within SKEA’s efforts to increase the level of awareness in the development program of the award and its contribution to the sustainable economic and social development as well as increasing the competitive capabilities of the companies of the private sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

Joined by more than 100 companies operating in different economic, social and services sectors, award consultants and experts viewed the categories that are initiated by the higher committee of the award. Presentations on the best practices were also delivered by former winning companies in previous cycles to encourage all the participants and assessors on the subject of excellence and quality since these practices represent a model for companies which implemented the development model of SKEA and achieved a lot of successes.

Prof. Hadi Al-Tijani, SEAK General Coordinator, said that the seminars which SKEA office organizes are attended by representatives from the sectors of health, education, finance, banking, construction and oil and gas, noting that the award model was built on the latest international models including the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and the American National Award while focusing on the requirements of the private sector in Abu Dhabi and the UAE as a whole. SKEA management is implementing these international models and modifies them to answer the local requirements of companies and establishments operating in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
